It appears as though KTLK is now including the whole show (all 4 hours) in its fantastic podcast. KTLK does a really good job with these podcasts.
In other news, some idiot lied to Phil’s calls screener last night in order to get on the air and take issue with the term ‘chinaman’ bursting onto the airwaves earlier in the show. Show intern Bud Dickman took the blame for the bulk of the slurs use. The caller, ‘Henry’, sounded like a swishy Media Matters type when he referred to Phil as just another ‘Don Imus’.
This moves Phil’s ‘real caller with fake guest’ occurrence rate from an average of 4 months between instances to roughly 3.25 months between instances. We hope, however, to see this trend accelerate and anticipate another occurrence sometime in October.

Good news. They have some work to do though. The dates are wrong and some are missing. There are no tags in the mp3s and the actually podcast xml is broken right now. It’s step in the right direction.

Hm, you mean it should be the 28th instead of the 29th? Maybe it automatically tags it with the current date when it is done recording. The podcast xml worked for me this morning in google reader. I do wonder if this will fly when they are preempted for sports though. And I guess whoever was on after Phil on KTLK ain’t there anymore?

I agree they could put some better tags in those mp3s. They probably figure the shelf life of most talk radio is pretty short (and they would be right), so why bother with tags on something you’ll never listen to again? The shelf life of Phil’s show is arguably immortal.
